The JRC Karlsruhe plans the purchase of complete laser equipment for its high-temperature laboratory for thermophysical measurements. The equipment consists of a power laser (2 kilowatts power, 1 µm wavelength and 8 mm·mrad beam quality), and 2 laser light cables (600 µm core diameter, 20 m length). The laser will be controlled remotely by software installed on a Windows-based system.
