Continuous friction measuring equipment — use on contaminated runways
The aim of this project is to establish what research, data and — especially — regulatory action would be required of equipment manufacturers and aeroplane manufacturers and operators to achieve the goal of accurately calculating aeroplane stopping distances — braking action — on contaminated runways (except on compacted snow and ice) by tactical deployment of CFME.
