Horizontal directional drillings near and on the island of Norderney, Germany
A total of six horizontal directional drillings in the coastal area of the German North Sea & the island of Norderney:
a) From the mainland south of the dike of Hilgenriedersiel out to see, direction Norderney, a total drilling length of approximately 1400 meters (onethousandfourhundred meters), with a drilling-rig of minimum 300 metric Tons;
b) From the island of Norderney in the Grohdepolder dike to the inner sea, a total drilling length of approximately 400 meters (fourhundred meters), with a drilling-rig of minimum 100 metric Tons;
c) From the island of Norderney south of the Oase beach dike to the outer sea, a total drilling length of approximately 600 meters (sixhundred meters), with a drilling-rig of minimum 150 metric Tons;
d) Transportation of the drilling-rigs to and from the island may only be carried out by boat. On the north side of the island the transport of the pipes must also be carried out by boat. Most of the works will be carried out in the Wadden Sea National Park.
