Supply and maintenance of radiation detection equipment for Eusectra training centre

The Institute for Transuranium Elements plans to purchase radiation detection equipment in order to support the Eusectra training programme in the area of detection and response to the illicit trafficking of nuclear and other radioactive material. The equipment for training to be offered is intended for use by the front line officers, their management, the trainers and other experts in the field.
The equipment to be supplied is divided into 3 lots:
Lot 1:
Secondary spectroscopic radiation portal monitor.
Lot 2: Radiation detection devices and analyses equipment:
(1) 'high energy resolution portable radioisotope identifier';
(2) 'backpack for portable radiation detection system';
(3) 'neutron search instrument';
(4) 'hand-held XRF analyzer';
(5) 'dose rate measuring instrument with gamma telescopic probe, beta and alpha external probes'.
Lot 3:
Simulation training systems for radiological detectors for the training of detecting radiation contamination.
The contracts shall cover the delivery, installation of the complete equipment and an operational training as well as the possibility of a maintenance contract after the warranty period.
