The European XFEL will be a major X-ray research facility for user operation and will come operational in 2016; it is located in Schenefeld, Germany.
Important components of the photon vacuum system are the tube supports. The task of these devices is to support, allow alignment and fixation of vacuum tubes.
Subject of the inquiry is a call-off order contract for minimum 550 / maximum 700 units tube supports of different sizes and types. The exact numbers for each individual support are still to be defined.
The earliest delivery is expected in Q4/2013, the latest call off order will be placed in Q2/2015.
