Provision of non-hazardous waste collection and disposal services, including but not limited to the following European Waste Catalogue (EWC/EAK) numbers: 02 01 06, 03 01 05, 09 01 01, 09 01 08, 15 01 01, 15 01 02, 15 01 03, 15 01 06, 15 01 10, 16 05 05, 17 01 07, 17 02 02, 17 08 02, 17 09 04, 18 01 01, 18 01 03, 18 01 04, 18 01 08, 18 01 09, 18 01 10, 18 02 02, 20 01 01, 20 01 02, 20 01 08, 20 01 11, 20 01 25, 20 01 40, 20 02 01, 20 03 01, 20 03 03 and 20 03 07, for British Army Barracks and other locations primarily located in Nordrhein-Westfalen and Niedersachsen, Germany. It is planned that British Forces will leave Germany over the period 2013-2018, which will over time significantly reduce the number of locations at which services will be required and the quantities of waste to be removed.
The MOD's intention is to appoint a single Prime Contractor to manage all the above waste streams but reserves the right to award more than one Contract to ensure that all waste streams and locations are served. Potential Providers Expressing an Interest in this requirement must demonstrate that they, and/or their intended subcontractors, hold appropriate certification/licenses to carry out waste collection, transportation, handling, and disposal in Germany, and must provide evidence of their capability and capacity to act as prime contractor for this requirement with their Expression of Interest.
