Design, manufacture, delivery, installation, and briefing of one High Precistion Heavy Load Diffractometer for P23-1/PETRA Extension
DESY is inviting tenders for the construction of a high precision 6+1 - circle diffractometer with open Eulerian cradle. The diffractometer will be installed at the the Nanodiraction Beamline. The Nanodiffraction Beamline P23 is an undulator beamline at PETRA III Extension and will go into operation in 2015. The beamline will concentrate on investigations in nanoscience and technology with X-ray diffraction techniques. The equipment of the beamline must allow the usage of versatile sample environments for in situ and in operando applications. The exceptional beam quality and stability will enable to use focusing techniques to prepare submicron beam sizes at the sample position with focal spot sizes down to 50 nm.
