Manual Sorting Line with five chutes on each side. At the end of the sorting line a magnetic separator should screen out ferrous metal items, including beverage cans, food can and other ferrous scrap in the waste stream. After that a wind sifter should separate the light fraction from the heavy fraction. The light fraction should then proceed via conveyer to the second screen drum. The organic waste should be composted by passively aerated window composting. The rejects of the screening process should be directed to the windsifter in the RDF production process.
