Supply of one Interface Diffractometer with corresponding Rail System
Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY in der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft
DESY is inviting tenders for the construction of an interface diffractometer which will be operated at high X-ray energies. The diffractometer must provide an outer horizontal tilt axis perpendicular to the incident x-ray beam with sub-microradian resolution and stability. Inside of this tilt four translational and three rotational degrees of freedom are required as specified. In particular sub-micrometer resolution and repeatability of the vertical translation are required to match the narrow width of the vertically focused incident beam. Significant load capacity and clearance must be provided for bulky sample environments. The diffractometer will be operated alternately with another instrument and therefore must be mounted on rails perpendicular to the beam. The installation of the rails in the experimental hutch is part of the scope of work.
