I_HeERO-Project Management Team; Call for Tender; Open Procedure
I_HeERO is a Connected Europe Fund, annual call project proposal with a proposed duration of 2 years. It is anticipated, that the project will commence in Q4 of 2015. The project will be administered by Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA).
The basis of the project is the assessment and upgrade of Member State public safety answering point (PSAP) in preparation for the deployment of eCall based on 112 across Europe. In addition this project will focus on the development of eCall for Heavy Goods Vehicle, eCall for Powered 2 wheeled machines, Data Integration pertaining to eCall and an examination of eCall futures taking into account future communication mediums beyond LTE (4G).
The successful proposal for tender will be required to provide both technical and project management capability to ensure that the consortium of 16 member states and 61 commercial partners can fulfil their contractual obligations and deliver the necessary upgrade to the PSAP infrastructure.
Expressions of interest are invited from companies or consortium who feels that they have the necessary skills and abilities to fulfil this role. The work undertaken would be at the direction of the Project Coordinator.
