(Pre-qualification) Design and delivery of the gaseous supply system
The Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V., referred to hereinafter as DLR respectively CUSTOMER, is operating test facilities for rocket engines on their proving ground in Lampoldshausen, Germany. Within the A6 US project of the ESA a new cryogenic upper stage for the Ariane 6 launcher is under development. The test and qualification of the stage requires a test facility, which will be situated on the DLR tests site at Lampoldshausen. The construction of the new test bench P5.2 is scheduled until end of 2017.
The gaseous supply system consists of different subsystem to supply the test bench P5.2 with GN2, GHe, GH2 and GOX at various operating conditions. For the supply of the test bench P5.2 existing systems at other test benches as well as new systems at the test site of Lampoldshausen shall be utilized and thus connected to the test bench P5.2. The tender will comprise the following two packages:
— Interconnecting HP piping in between the different locations at the DLR Lampoldshausen site and the test bench P5.2;
— Gas panels as well as storages and several integration works at the test bench P5.2.
The scope of supply of the tender shall comprise but not be limited to:
— Detailed design and engineering, quality assurance;
— Procurement of materials, manufacturing including workshop tests and pre-acceptance;
— Transportation, erection and commissioning; acceptance and documentation;
The CUSTOMER will provide with the tender following main technical specifications and information:
— Technical specification
— PID with specified diameter, flow rates and other flow conditions;
— Datasheets of valves and preliminary arrangement plans.
