PRO-000436 — Provision of supply and maintenance of server hardware and operating system software
The European Central Bank (‘ECB') is seeking through this procurement a supplier(s) for the provision of:
1) server hardware supply and maintenance:
a. supply of server hardware computer systems and associated equipment. For example (but not limited to): Oracle SPARC processor-based, and Hewlett Packard, Oracle and Cisco x86 processor-based equipment — including converged systems and infrastructure, server appliances and components for computer reference architectures;
b. hardware maintenance support services for the ECB's existing and future server hardware computer systems and associated equipment. For example (but not limited to): Oracle SPARC processor-based, and Hewlett Packard, Oracle and Cisco x86 processor-based equipment — including converged systems and infrastructure, server appliances and components for computer reference architectures;
2) server operating system software supply and maintenance:
a. supply of server software in particular server operating systems. For example (but not limited to): Oracle Solaris (on SPARC and x86), Linux SuSE and Linux Red Hat Enterprise Server and associated software solutions (e.g. virtualisation, systems management, high-performance computing, enterprise computing (including high availability and cluster solutions), etc.) as well as all the relevant reference documentation;
b. maintenance support services for the ECB's existing and future server software in particular server operating systems. For example (but not limited to): Oracle Solaris (on SPARC and x86), Linux SuSE and Linux Red Hat Enterprise Server and associated software solutions (e.g. virtualisation, systems management, high-performance computing) over the operational lifetime of the contract;
3) services throughout the lifecycle of server computer system solutions within the scope of this contract (e.g. engineering, installation, migration, tuning, operations, removal, and disposal).
The framework agreement will be in place for initially 30 months with the possibility of extensions up to in total 18 additional months.
