81208511 — Advice on financial support mechanisms and on quality assurance in the detailed preparation of NAMA support projects
A core objective of the NAMA Facility is to demonstrate how the implementation of NAMAs can be financed and how respective low carbon investments can be triggered (i.e. beyond pure grant finance). Thus, financial support mechanisms in NSPs are of utmost importance, yet have been identified as being weakly developed in many NSP concepts proposed to the NAMA Facility. Thus, additional external avdice is required for project proponents in developing the financial mechanism(s) of their NSPs and in general improving the project design and quality underlying their NSP proposals.
