Kurze Beschreibung:

— wind turbine generators with an overall capacity of 112 MW,

— inner array cables including one interlink cable to then existing offshore wind farm EnBW Hohe See,

— offshore substation.

Insurance Package Policy comprises Construction/Erection All Risks Insurance, Delay in Start-up Insurance and Third Party Liability Insurance (construction phase) as well as Operation All Risks Insurance including Business Interruption (operational Phase). Sums insured will be approx. 450 000 000 EUR for property damage and 118 000 000 EUR for loss of profit (18 month indemnity period foreseen) plus some additional limits for extra costs.

Policy foreseen to start in March 2017. Offshore activities are scheduled to start in Q3 2018, installation phase expected to be completed in Q4 2019. Operational phase cover will automatically follow for two full calendar years.

Befähigung zur Berufsausübung:

Permission for the business concern as insurers in accordance with German Law or, for tenderers with legal domicile abroad equivalent permission by the responsible supervisory authority.

Wirtschaftliche und finanzielle Leistungsfähigkeit:

A confirmation is required that a minimum rating of A- according to Standard and Poor's or an equivalent rating of another rating agency exists.

Please send the required confirmation together with your participation application in a sealed envelope to the contact named in I.3), with the reference ‘Personally/ confidential — award documents’ and the EU Tender reference number until 9.12.2016 15:00 CET. Insurers who intent to participate in the tender are requested to ask by email for the participation application document.

The signed and fully filled participation application document including attached supporting documents are a crucial requirement for participation in the tender.

Technische und berufliche Fähigkeiten:

Requirements for a leading quote are:

1. At least references as leading insurer for 2 offshore wind farms.

2. The minimum share for a leading quote is 25 %.

3. The claims service with own engineers must be available at any time.

Requirements for a participation quote are:

1. Confirmation of their willingness to accept the full following form without any reservations.

— from the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin),

— or an appropriate permit from the competent supervisory authority of…
