The scope of supply is the manufacture, assembly, testing, documentation, packing, delivery and on-site installation of a femtosecond laser system. The laser will be a platform on which a number of non-linear optical apparatuses will be built, so it should be a highly reliable, stable, turn-key, system with a high-repetition rate that can be easily varied by the user under software control. The laser system must conform to the specifications described in the document ‘Specifications for a turn-key, high-Repetition rate, femtosecond laser System for the SCS laser laboratory’.
The laser will be installed in a new, purpose-built laser laboratory. Installation of the laser system at European XFEL should include training of laser-experienced personnel in its use, including necessary maintenance tasks.

— control and power units;

— cooling system;

2. Documentation.

3. Packaging material for delivery.

4. Delivery to European XFEL.

5. Installation on site at European XFEL.

6. Commissioning.

7. User training in operation and maintenance of the system.
