‘Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit’ (GIZ) GmbH and the International Trade Centre (ITC) have been commissioned by the European Commission to jointly implement the Action ‘Support to Facilitation of Trade between CEFTA Parties’ (‘the project’) in support of the implementation of the Additional Protocol 5 (AP 5) on Trade Facilitation to the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) in the time frame 1.1.2017-31.12.2019. The project objective is to facilitate trade in the CEFTA region through the reduction and eventual removal of the most distortive non-tariff measures to trade for 2 selected supply chains, and through the simplification of trade related procedures.
