Kurze Beschreibung
India's National Action Plan on Climate Change (2008) points to building efficiency measures as essential to carbon emission reduction. The current policy environment is beginning to promote energy efficiency and the execution of national and state level programs will be the key determinants of its success. The Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the Republic of India have, under the Indo-German Technical Cooperation, agreed to jointly promote the ‘Indo-German Energy Programme’ (IGEN) with the aim to promote energy efficiency/conservation in energy consumption so to use energy more efficiently and in turn improve the environment/ climate protection.
