The objective of the contract is to successfully implement Component C on ‘Communication and Participation’ of the project ‘Support to the European Union Integration in Kosovo’, which GIZ implements on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project supports the Ministry of European Integration (MEI) in Kosovo to effectively coordinate the planning and implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) based on SAA structures. The project operates in three output areas of which the third output area (‘MEI has implemented parts of the SAA Communication Strategy by involving the civil society’) is subject of this contract. The consultant is expected to meet the pre-defined result indicators towards achieving this output by implementing interventions in the fields of (1) Communication of EU Integration Processes, (2) Inclusion of non-state actors in the EU Integration Process; and (3) Gender Equality.

Sentence 1 does not apply in the case of an application to determine the invalidity of the contract in accordance with Article 135, Section 1 (2).
