81221057-TRANSfer III-Short-Term expert support on mitigation actions in green freight and on outreach

TRANSfer’s objective is to increase the efforts of developing countries and emerging economies to foster climate-friendly transport with international support. TRANSfer facilitates the development mitigations measures by establishing multi-donor initiatives and toolkits that allow for economies of scale. New measures will be developed in at least five countries (including Indonesia and Peru). International learning processes will foster an increase in the ambition level.
The support by the consulting firm contributes to the achievement of the project outputs as well as the aforementioned support to further GIZ projects as part of the project’s umbrella function. The focus of this tender is on freight and logistics, in particular regarding the following areas:
- Green freight operations;
- Intermodal freight transport;
- Vehicles: Fuels and vehicle technology;
- Financing of green freight and logistics;
- Outreach for the aforementioned projects.
