Biodiversity Conservation through integration of ecosystem services Brazil
The services to be awarded are related to the ‘TEEB Regional-Local’ Brazil-Germany Cooperation project. In order to present and integrate the value of biodiversity and ecosystem services in a convincing way, above all it is necessary to have structured data bases and information, approved methods for ecosystem services integration and practical implementation examples. The services to be awarded support the Ministry of the Environment, both in the conceptual and methodological aspects, in the efforts to up-scale ecosystem service integration into national development strategies.
