This ‘Wind Turbine Generator Quality Surveillance Services — Foundations and Towers’ tender concerns the provision of qualified Quality Surveillance services on site at WTG tower and/or foundation fabrication, coating and outfitting facilities including:
— Monitoring and reporting any HSE issues,
— Reviewing and monitoring Manufacturer's documentation, staff qualifications and competency, processes, quality control activities and the end product,
— Using Employer's tracking system to report any deficiencies with respect to compliance with the Turbine Supply Contract and other relevant requirements.
— Using the Employer's component tracking system to report the status/progress of each component.
Quality Control at the manufacturer is not required, but rather the manufacturer's own QA/QM/QC shall be inspected and assessed.
The manufacturing facilities will be located within Europe, mostly northern Europe. On occasion, travel further afield may also be required. In exceptional cases inspections may also take place at other points in the execution process of the WTG supplier, e.g. pre-assembly, installation, completion, commissioning.

Bedingungen für die Teilnahme
Wirtschaftliche und finanzielle Leistungsfähigkeit:

Your company must have taken out liability insurance that at the time of application is valid for at least 6 more months, with a minimum cover of 1 000 000 EUR per event or you must provide for such insurance in case of contract award.

Technische und berufliche Fähigkeiten:

A: To be able/allowed to carry out the required inspections, inspectors must

—be able to read and understand design and workshop drawings;

—hold relevant certificates to enter European production facilities;

—have access to/ provide the necessary measuring equipment;

—be fluent in English (verbally and in writing) and preferably other language(s) depending on the location;

—have the relevant HSE certificates including working at height to carry out the Services, if necessary;

—have access to/ bring own relevant personal protective equipment and communication tools.

B: In addition to the above steel works inspectors shall have:

—at least 5 years experience in steel manufacturing including different welding processes, welding equipment, materials and interaction between welding, non-destructive testing, design, and production control;

—2 years experience in Quality Assurance and Control;

—proficiency in relevant standards including Eurocodes and EN 1090 and referenced standards.

—at least 1 team member of the inspection team shall be trained as welding engineer (Schweißfachingenieur) with a background in mechanical engineering, steel works or marine architecture and ideally with a specialization in production technology.

C: In addition to A coating inspectors shall have

—at least 5 years practical work experience with coating technologies, preferably in the offshore industry related to corrosion protection;

—Proficiency in relevant standards including (e.g. ISO 12944, ISO 8501, ISO 8502, ISO 8503 etc.);

—at least 1 team member of the inspection team shall be qualified as FROSIO Level III (or equivalent) with a background in corrosion engineering, steel works or marine architecture and ideally with a specialization in production technology.

D: In addition to A electrical and mechanical outfitting inspectors must have:

—at least 5 years practical experience with electrical (low and high voltage) and mechanical outfitting and/or design, preferably in the wind industry;

—proficiency in relevant standards;

—Team members shall at least hold a relevant trade qualification. At least 1 team member of the inspection team shall be a qualified electrical and power engineer.
