This ‘Wind Turbine Generator Quality Surveillance Services — Nacelle and Hub components’ tender concerns the provision of qualified Quality Surveillance services on site at WTG Nacelle, Hub, transformer-converter unit manufacturing/assembly facilities, or any facility where components making up such assemblies are manufactured (e.g. generators, gearboxes and bearings), including:
— Monitoring and reporting any HSE issues,
— Reviewing and monitoring Manufacturer's documentation, staff qualifications and competency, processes, quality control activities and the end product,
— Using Employer's tracking system to report any deficiencies with respect to compliance with the Turbine Supply Contract and other relevant requirements.
— Using the Employer's component tracking system to report the status/progress of each component.
Quality Control at the manufacturer is not required, but rather the manufacturer's own QA/QM/QC shall be inspected and assessed.
The manufacturing facilities will be located within Europe, mostly northern Europe. On occasion, travel further afield may also be required. In exceptional cases inspections may also take place at other points in the execution process of the WTG supplier, e.g. pre-assembly, installation, completion, commissioning.

Wirtschaftliche und finanzielle Leistungsfähigkeit:

Your company must have taken out liability insurance that at the time of application is valid for at least 6 more months, with a minimum cover of 1 000 000 EUR per event or you must provide for such insurance in case of contract award.

Technische und berufliche Fähigkeiten:

To be able/allowed to carry out the required inspections, inspectors must have:

—sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge including relevant formal qualification(s) such as an engineering degree and/or trade qualification(s);

—at least 5 years' experience within the wind industry related to offshore wind turbines including design, and/or production of Nacelle, Hub, transformer-converter unit components;

—at least 3 years' of work experience on the shop floor within the production environment of the wind industry as a production lead and/or carrying out quality control of Nacelle, Hub, transformer-converter unit components.

—2 years' experience in Quality Assurance and Control;

—verifiable experience/knowledge of wind turbines of at least two different wind turbine manufacturers;

—be able to interpret quality documentation (e.g. NDT reports, material certificates, hardness measurements, etc.);

—Proficiency in relevant standards including IEC, Eurocodes and DIN;

—Read and understand design and workshop drawings;

—Hold relevant certificates to enter European production facilities;

—Have the relevant HSE certificates to carry out the Services.
