The assignment is part of the project “Adaptation of agricultural value chains to climate change” (PrAda) financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the German technical cooperation in Madagascar. The goal of the project is to improve the performance of actors in selected agricultural value chains that are particularly vulnerable to climate change.
The contractor will be responsible for carrying out in-depth analyses of several agricultural value chains in the South and Southeast of Madagascar, covering the four dimensions “Economy /Market”, “Inclusivity”, “Environment” and “Climate risk”. The results of the assignment will be used to inform the project’s activities to foster the respective value chains.
