To achieve an overall financing strategy for the sector, and assessment of the mandatory health insurance scheme and relevant support for it as well as capacity development on various levels within the MoHS, NASSIT and others are necessary. Further, the MoHS-GIZ project is planning on sustainable workforce financing in health facilities in close collaboration with the district health management teams, local councils, hospital management and health workers in primary healthcare units.
