The study areas are located in Sakatti (Finland), Las Cruces and Rio Tinto (Spain) as well as Geyer (Germany) to cover different types of mineral deposits. The project covers state-of-the-art technology for survey like Airborne Electromagnetics (AEM) as well as new methods such as Full Tensor Magnetic Gradiometry (FTMG).

Within the frame of the project INFACT different technologies for raw material exploration with main focus on airborne methods will be tested. The study areas are located in Sakatti (Finland), Las Cruces and Rio Tinto (Spain) as well as Geyer (Germany) to cover different types of mineral deposits. The project covers state-of-the-art technology for survey like Airborne Electromagnetics (AEM) as well as new methods such as Full Tensor Magnetic Gradiometry (FTMG). Airborne sensors and navigational aids during the survey are as well provided by the client.The service provided should include all costs for acquiring all local licenses and permits which are required to carry out the survey. The contractor has to supply fuel for the aircraft for all flights.

The starting day of the service is the about the 1.8.2018 (with a flexibility of one week), the campaign is expected to take between 40 to 55 days (depending on weather delays). The type of helicopter required for the survey is an Eurocopter AS350B3 “Ecureuil”, registered in Europe. As this survey is highly skilled and specialized in nature, and also involves low flying, only pilot has experience in flying the VTEM or Equivalent system at least 300 hours experience are suitable for suvery flights.

Remedies according to § 160 GWB:
1) The public procurement tribunal initiates a review procedure only on request;
2) Any company that has an interest in the public contract or the concession and claims an infringement in its rights pursuant to Section 97 (6) GWB by non-compliance with transfer regulations shall have the right to apply. It must be stated that the alleged damage to the procurement rules has caused or threatens to harm the company;

3) The application is inadmissible insofar as:
— (1) The applicant has recognized the alleged infringement of public procurement rules prior to the submission of the request for review and has not complained to the contracting authority within a period of 10 calendar days; the expiration of the period according to § 134 paragraph 2 GWB remains unaffected;
