Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), under its Enhanced Water Security and Sanitation Programme (ENWASS) in Uganda, is implementing the project "Enhancing Climate Resilience through increased Water for Production Capacities in Karamoja". Under this project, GIZ will support the Department of Water for Production (DWfP) of the Directorate of Water Development (DWD) and Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE). Under this assignment, the consulting firm is expected to perform the following tasks:
1) Carry out a comprehensive situation analysis on operation, maintenance and management of selected WfP facilities across the country;
2) Review and update the operation and maintenance strategy and implementation plan for the sustainable management of WfP facilities;
3) Review and update the operation and sustainable management manual for WfP facilities;
4) Develop the operation and management technical manual for WfP facilities and related posters.
