The lack of well skilled employees and entrepreneurial competencies and capacities are low. The high number of illiterate clients, employees or suppliers form a challenge for the companies plus access to financial services. The objective of the overall project is Improvement of framework conditions for a competitive private and financial sector.

Most banks do not yet recognize the business potential of selling their services to MSME clients in rural areas. At the same time the knowledge of MSMEs about financial services is rather low.
The module objective is: MSME use improved framework conditions for inclusive growth.
The contractor is responsible for tasks related to intervention Area 3: ‘Financial Systems Development’ which promotes an improved access to financial services for MSME in rural areas, here in the provinces of Inhambane, Manica, Sofala, Nampula and Zambezia. A strong collaboration with Intervention Area 2: ‘Private Sector Development’ and here in particular for the development of financial services for sustainable inclusive business models (inBM) is of crucial importance.
The contractor is responsible for tasks related to intervention Area 3: ‘Financial Systems Development’ which promotes an improved access to financial services for MSME in rural areas, here in the provinces of Inhambane, Manica, Sofala, Nampula and Zambezia.
