TenneT intends to conclude a contract for an assembly insurance (CAR) including installation, construction work, transport and liability (section II)) for the construction and commissioning of its offshore grid connection system ‘DolWin5’ in the German North Sea. The offshore grid connection system includes a land station, land cable (DC), submarine cable (DC) and offshore substation. Other cable systems (AC) are possible. The insurance concept consists of a project insurance, which is divided into different lots. Detailed information on each lot can be found in the specific sections of this notification. The implementation of the tender will depend on the underlying design of the offshore power system DolWin5.
Every candidate can only once apply for Lot 1 and once for Lot 2 or once for both lots. This has to be clearly stated in the application documentation. The minimum share for lot 1 must be 15 %.

The implementation of the tender will depend on the underlying design of the offshore power system DolWin5. Please carefully read the "procedural guide" made available on Negometrix and follow the given instructions. The application for participation must be submitted electronically (in a standardized data format, such as PDF and MS Office format) via the Negometrix e-Tendering Platform, including all required information and supporting documents. Pre-submission of the application documents by e-mail/post/fax is not permitted and will lead to exclusion from the tender process. The requests to participate must be submitted in due time and complete by the deadline (see section IV.2.2). Late submissions cannot be considered. Incomplete sets of documents may lead to exclusion. All documents referred to in point III.1) ‘Conditions of participation’ in this call for tender have to be submitted. All attachments have to be submitted exclusively via Negometrix only. Please use the templates made available on Negometrix. In the case of a consortium, all parties of the consortium have to hand in the same documents mentioned in Section III.1) ‘Conditions for participation’. The client is entitled to transfer the rights and obligations of the subject matter of the contract to a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), irrespective of whether third parties have already participated as shareholders in this project company, or only after any transfer of this master agreement to such a project company. § 57 SektVO entitles the client to discontinue the award procedure at any time. If the candidate is an underwriting agency, the underwriting agency needs to meet all the requirements and suitability requirements. In case the candidate is an underwriting agency, the underlying insurers and their share of the participation need to be stated as part of the application of this tender. An underwriting agency needs to operate independent of a broker. If the underwriting agency, will be awarded the contract(s) the underlying agreement with the insurer needs to be provided to TenneT. This agreement shall be registered with the relevant Authorities at the start of the participation of this tender. Next to the above the underwriting agent need to issue a declaration signed by the underlying insurer(s) that the underlying insurer(s) are provided with the financial means and power of attorney to execute this contract.

Beschreibung der Verlängerungen:
The insurance contract may be unilaterally extended by the policyholder without limitation on the number of extensions. The minimum duration and possible extension intervals are one calendar month. The policyholder shall notify the insurer in writing at the latest 2 weeks before the expiry of the current contract term of an extension.
