The bidder shall deliver a suitable vessel and equipment to transport and install 1-2 monopiles at the offshore wind site HeDreiht for a noise mitigation test. The test is planned between 15 September 2020 and 31 October 2020.

Beschreibung der Verlängerungen:

The contract can be prolonged if the weather conditions don't allow the conduction of works on sea within the specified time frame as well as if there are delays in delivery of a project specific equipment and/or of the approval of authorities.

Please consider following options for monopole designs:

Option A: MP diameter 6.0 m top, 8.0-8.1 m bottom, weight of 890-1 100 t, ca. 70-75 m length

Option B: MP diameter 6.5 m top, 8.8 m bottom, weight of 890-1 100 t, ca. 70-75 m length

Option C: MP diameter 6.5 m top, 7.2 m bottom, weight of 890-1 100 t, ca. 70-75 m length

Technische und berufliche Fähigkeiten:

1) Please provide evidence about the availability of installation vessel between the 15 September 2020 until the 31 October 2020.

2) Is your company certified according to one of the recognized quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001, 27001, 20000 BSI basic protection standard)? If yes, please provide a copy of it.

3) Vessel must have sufficient deck space and crane capacity for 2 hammers (IHC S4000 and MENCK 3500 S) with respective equipment, sea fastening and as well as for all other lifting and installation tools (see options for monopole designs below)

Option A: MP diameter 6.0 m top, 8.0-8.1 m bottom, weight of 890-1 100 t, ca. 70-75 m length

Option B: MP diameter 6.5 m top, 8.8 m bottom, weight of 890-1 100 t, ca. 70-75 m length

Option C: MP diameter 6.5 m top, 7.2 m bottom, weight of 890-1 100 t, ca. 70-75 m length.

5) Vessel must be capable to install in water depths of 40 m and North Sea conditions.

6) Please confirm that you can provide vessel certificates according to BG Verkehr (BSH) for German AWZ for the specified contract period of time.

7) Please name your subcontractors you will be working with in this project.

8) Please confirm you can provide following insurances:

The Contractor shall maintain the following insurance as named insured:

(a) Third party liability insurance covering bodily injuries, property damages, environmental damages and consequential financial losses.

The contractor shall ensure that the following insurances are maintained with respect to all vessels that are used by the contractor or its sub-contractors for the execution of the contract:

(b) Hull and Machinery insurance for all vessels including the employer as co-insured with respect to the employer’s interests and including a full waiver of subrogation in favour of the employer with a sum insured per occurrence not less than the vessel’s current market value. This insurance shall also cover damage to the vessel and consequential loss-of-hire resulting from unexploded ordinances (UXO).

(c) Protection and Indemnity insurance for all vessels including a waiver of subrogation in favour of the employer with respect to misdirected arrow including specialist operations cover.

The contractor shall ensure that the following insurances are maintained by the contractor or its sub-contractors:

(d) Workers compensation insurance for all personnel involved in the execution of this contract who are not covered by compulsory insurances (i.e. Berufsgenossenschaft in Germany) stating the Contractor and its subcontractor respectively as named insured.

(e) Environmental damage insurance stating the Contractor and its subcontractor respectively as named insured and the Employer as co-insured with respect to the Employer’s interests (including a full waiver of subrogation in favour of the Employer) which covers claims according to the German Environmental Damage Act (Umweltschadensgesetz).

(f) All other insurances required by law.

All insurances shall and must meet the following requirements:

1) Insurers’ rating shall be at least BBB+ (Standard and Poors Inc. or Fitch Rating Inc.) or a Baa1 (Moody’s Corp.)

2) Deductibles shall not exceed EUR 500 000 (or the equivalent amount in USD) per occurrence.

3) Insurances shall be maintained at least for the vessels’ period of use with respect to b), c) and shall be maintained for the duration of this contract including warranty period in all other cases.

4) Insurances shall have no geographical exclusions with respect to the areas where works under this contract are carried out, explicitly no offshore exclusions.
