The services tendered require support to a GIZ project with the African Union portfolio in support to the management of various high-level event formats in Member States of the African Union as well as training and study trips to the European Union. Services requested under these Terms of Reference include the booking and provision of air tickets as well as organizational and logistic support to physical, hybrid as well as digital events. The latter entails participant management regarding the organization of accommodation, transportation, and registration as well as conference management including organization of venues and catering, moderation and interpretation services, technical and digital equipment, as well as support to communication and documentation.
The services tendered require support to a GIZ project with the African Union portfolio in support to the management of various high-level event formats in Member States of the African Union as well as training and study trips to the European Union. A selection will be made under all eligible participants based on the following criteria:
I. Technical experience
1) 5 years of relevant experience in management of bookings (e.g. airplane tickets, hotels, etc.) in a timely, client-oriented manner: 10 %;
2) Relevant experience (9 events) in organizing physical, virtual, and blended event formats, including use of innovative and creative approaches: 25 %;
3) Relevant experience (12 events) in organizing high-level events for the public service sector: 25 %;
4) Relevant experience (6 events) in organizing culturally sensitive events across the African and European continents: 5 %.
II. Regional experience in Africa 30 %.
III. Experience of development projects (at least 50 % ODA-financed): 5 %.
