This consultancy is part of the GIZ project "Governance in the Education Sector in Lebanon (EDU GOV)," funded by BMZ. The project aims to improve decentralized and digital education governance in Lebanon by enhancing institutional capacities, communication structures, and promoting gender-responsive governance. Focus: The consultancy falls under Output 2, which emphasizes gender-responsive, target group-specific capacity development in education governance. Objective: Contribute to the module goal: improved decentralized, digital governance in Lebanon"s education system. Key Indicator: 84 out of 120 participants from educational institutions (21 men) confirmed that training improved communication and decentralized management efficiency. Output 2 Indicators: - One gender-responsive capacity development needs analysis completed in collaboration with MEHE, 4 REOs, 9 schools, and other stakeholders. - 120 people (30 men) complete MEHE-certified training aligned with institutional and gender-transformative goals. - Reference to earlier training (20 participants) under GIZ SUFA project (2019-2024). Work Packages: 1.
