Kurze Beschreibung: Bezeichnung des Auftrags durch den Auftraggeber: Zusätzliches Bremssysten für Stoßlastgenerator EZ4. The mechanical braking system (MBS) consists of a commercial absorption dynamometer, either of the hydraulic or eddy-current type, with a typical power rating of ~ 7MW that operates in the speed range 1650-250 rpm and a multi-disk friction brake for the braking at low speed, in the range 250-0 rpm. The total braking time is to be less than 10 minutes, while the total energy to be dissipated is 1800 MJ. The MBS is to include a closed-loop water cooling system, complete with water tank and circulation pumps, to dissipate the no-load losses of the dynamometer (less than 240 kW) as well as to cool the tank water after a braking sequence. During a period of 30 minutes, the cooling system needs to develop a cooling power of ~ 1 MW. The MBS is also to include a control, monitoring and protection system based on PLC and hardwired circuits for the supervision of the equipment as well as for the interface with the PLC of the EZ4 generator. The scope of the supply includes the engineering of the complete system, the procurement of the components as well as the installation and commissioning on the IPP site.
