Quality Control (QC) PV modules

Vattenfall has signed framework agreements with a number of solar module manufactures. These agreements include quality supply agreements. The QC Firms will carry out the quality control against these quality supply agreements.

Lot 1- Quality Control (QC) at manufacturer site, usually in Asia

-Support in factory quality audits

-In-line Inspection (Production witnessing)

-CDF / BOM check

-Pre-shipment testing

-EL re-check against agreed failure-catalogue (off-site)

-Management of 3rd-party lab testing

-Flash test reference sample

-Peel-off, gel content, PID, LID, Low-light, LeTID

-Verification of PAN file

-Witnessing of test or other verification

Optional: Raw material traceability and CO2 emissions calculation

Lot 2- On-site at project site (NL, DE)

-Incoming inspection PV modules

-Visual inspection

-Flash test

-EL

-Post-Installation testing

-EL

Since both Vattenfall and the candidates will share confidential information, Vattenfall asks all candidates to sign an NDA before access to the Tender documentation will be granted. In the TED documentation you will be asked to contact Vattenfall to receive an NDA template that needs to be sent back signed to Vattenfall. On May 26 all candidates that signed the NDA will receive a link to the tender tool form where all Tender documents and the Tender questionnaire can be accessed. The EU-tender open procedure was chosen in relation to the expected spend during the contract period and Vattenfall’s purpose to make the process as time-efficient as possible for both the candidates and Vattenfall. Following this all interested candidates are invited to submit an offer.
