Maintenance of GSOC's Satellite Monitoring and Control System (SMCS). General statement of work for the maintenance of GSOC's satellite monitoring and control system (SMCS): The work shall be performed from 1.4.2005 until 31.12.2006. As an option an extension by another year until 31.12.2007 shall be offered as well. The following tasks are to be performed for the projects CHAMP, GRACE and TerraSAR-X: Maintenance of the operational Software-System for SMCS: Trouble shooting, User support (on-site), Software adaptation (SCOS-2000 Releases and patches), Bug fixes. Implementation of Change Requests for SMCS: General Change Requests, Project specific Change Requests. The main objective is to ensure safe, uninterrupted operations for the satellite missions. Any new project that will be kicked-off during the contract duration and that will use SMCS (SCOS-2000) as monitoring & control system will also have to be included in this maintenance contract.
