Within the frame of the EU-funded INFACT project, different technologies for mineral exploration with a main focus on airborne geophysics will be tested. The project covers state-of-the-art instruments for Airborne Electro Magnetic surveys including Geotech, CGG or SkyTEM’s newest instruments (hereafter called equipment providers). Study areas are:
— Sakatti (Finland),
— Las Cruces and Rio Tinto (Spain), and
— Geyer (Germany) to cover different types of natural resources.

Within the frame of the project INFACT different technologies for raw material exploration with main focus on airborne methods will be tested. The study areas are located in Sakatti (Finland), Las Cruces and Rio Tinto (Spain) as well as Geyer (Germany) to cover different types of mineral deposits. The project covers state-of-the-art technology for survey like Airborne Electromagnetics (AEM) as well as new methods such as Full Tensor Magnetic Gradiometry (FTMG).
