Impact assessment and evaluation of EASA rules in the field of aviation safety (Assess II)
The Agency's rulemaking procedure foresees, inter alia:
— the establishment of preliminary regulatory impact assessments to support the drafting of the rulemaking programme,
— regular reviews (evaluations) of the impact of rules,
— a regulatory impact assessment to accompany every notice of proposed amendment.
As a result the Agency is seeking to sign multiple framework contracts (with max. 6 tenderers) with re-opening of competition to provide EASA with highly competent and qualified external expertise to ensure objectivity and high-level technical services to support the Agency's rulemaking activities.
