81223104 — Energy Efficiency and Integration of Renewable Energy into the Grid in Bangladesh
Bangladesh is embracing both conventional and renewable sources of energy to meet its existing and steadily growing demand for power. In this process, the country is aiming at exploiting its available solar potential, predominantly promoting grid-connected solar power.
The project “Energy Efficiency and Integration of Renewable Energy into the Grid in Bangladesh” is a part of the development cooperation programme Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. The project is designed for a duration of 30 months starting from April 2018.
The Objective of the project is: decision-makers in the energy sector have improved the conditions under which stakeholders can integrate solar power into the grid and improve efficiency in the power grid.
