Beschreibung der Beschaffung
The ECB is seeking for suitable service providers to provide catering services for the Eurotower Building, located at Kaiserstrasse 29 in the Center of Frankfurt am Main. The Eurotower is a high rise building which hosts up to approximately 1 850 workplaces. The personnel working in the building are drawn from all EU Member States.
In the Eurotower, a staff restaurant with approximately 200 seats as well as a seated dining area of approximately 100 seats are currently available.
The conference area in the Eurotower consists of 7 conference rooms accommodating up to an approximate maximum 542 participants and one event area with an approximate total capacity of maximum 199 participants.
Two vending machines are located on the 2 floor for the sale of chocolates, snacks and soft drinks. The Lounge on the ground floor with approximately 30 seats has one vending machine, a self-service for soft drinks and a coffee machine. This area can be used as event space. Adjacent to the staff restaurant a coffee shop with approximately 140 seats is open on working days.
The building has an internal meeting area with 14 meeting rooms and an approximate total capacity of maximum 284 participants. A total of 64 kitchenettes are located on each office floor of the tower, on-floor meeting rooms and executive dining facilities are available.
The past approximate yearly volume of meals served in the main catering areas is as follows:
— staff restaurant: ~160 000 lunches; ~66 500 breakfasts,
— Coffee shop: ~84 000 pick-ups (hot and cold drinks, snacks),
— Dining area: ~1 800 lunches and dinners (seated),
— Conference area: ~12 500 lunches and dinners (mainly buffets),
— Executive Dining: ~500 lunches and dinners.
These yearly volumes should serve for orientation only.

The ECB is seeking for suitable service providers to provide catering services for the Japan Center building (JC), located at Taunustor 2 in the Center of Frankfurt am Main. The Japan Center is a high rise building which hosts up to approximately 1 200 workplaces. The personnel working in the building are drawn from all EU Member States.
In the Japan Center a staff restaurant with approximately 215 seats is currently available.
The conference area in the Japan Center consists of 3 conference rooms and one event area with an approximate total capacity of maximum 100 participants.
A Bistro open to external public is located on the ground floor. The building has an internal meeting area with 14 meeting rooms and an approximate total capacity of maximum 162 participants. In addition the internal meeting area consists of one catering area with an approximate total capacity of maximum 24 participants. A total of 28 kitchenettes are located on each office floor of the tower, on-floor meeting rooms are available.
2 vending machines are located on the 3 floor for the sale of chocolates, snacks and soft drinks.
The past approximate yearly volume of meals served in the main catering areas is as follows:
— staff restaurant: ~113 000 lunches,
— conference area: ~5 000 lunches.
These yearly volumes should serve for orientation only.
