DW, in this case DW Akademie, promotes Media and Information Literacy (MIL) in various countries worldwide. The population of these countries is mainly promoted in MIL. The subject of the tender is primarily the areas of Africa, Asia and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) such as in Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Namibia and Uganda in Africa, Jordan and Lebanon, as well as Cambodia and Myanmar. It is planned to conclude up to four framework contracts with the four bidders presenting the most economical offer. On the basis of these framework agreements, DW will conduct so-called "mini-competitions" (cf chapter 2.13 of the tender specification) among the four framework agreement partners to determine the CO for a specific service implementation ("project").
A total volume of Euro 299,000.00 including 19% (German) VAT for a period of 2 years is envisaged. The information is not binding and there is no obligation to purchase.

DW, represented here by DW Akademie, promotes Media and Information Literacy (MIL) in various countries worldwide. The population of these countries is mainly promoted in MIL. The call for proposals is primarily for Africa, Asia and Middle East and North Africa (MENA), for example in Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Namibia and Uganda in Africa, Jordan and Lebanon, as well as Cambodia and Myanmar. Missions in other regions are possible, but in some of these regions DW is pursuing other approaches specifically tailored to local needs, which are covered by local contractors and are not part of this call for proposals.

In the majority of countries, young people and disadvantaged minorities are among the target group participating in MIL projects in the context of out-of-school education. In order to motivate the participants, these projects are participatory and include a lot of practical and creative media work.

DW is looking for experts to assist in the conception and supervision of these MIL projects on different continents. They will be responsible for the preparation and implementation of consultations and trainings as well as for the conceptual and content-related preparation of materials such as handbooks and worksheets.

The bidder shall submit at least 5 references suitable to demonstrate the bidder's skills and experience in the aforementioned points and include the information on:
- Project name and its main topics
- Place and duration of the project
- Language used within the project
