C3S2_384 Downscaling of CMIP6 Climate Projections using Machine Learning Tools to fill the Gaps of the Worldwide CORDEX RCM Simulations
ECMWF, as the Entrusted Entity for the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), invites tenders for providing new high resolution regional climate data using Machine Learning (ML) procedures which downscale CMIP6 Global Climate Models. This new dataset would complement the CORDEX-CMIP6 datasets which will be published in parallel, and the two sets of data together will form an enhanced set of regional climate datasets, with improved coverage of the climate projection uncertainty space.
